Training is required for new lake monitoring volunteers and anyone signing up for a new parameter. It is also beneficial for people looking for a refresher or those curious about how the CLMP may help protect their lake. Important: Attending training is not the same as enrolling your lake in the CLMP. Visit Become a Volunteer to enroll.
CLMP in-person training will be held at the Michigan Lakes and Streams Association (MLSA) 2025 Annual Conference at the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center in Muskegon, MI.
Click here to register for the CLMP In-person Training. When you begin registration for the conference, you will find options to attend the CLMP training only (free; meals available for purchase separately) or attend the full conference including the training and meals (use the discount code MiCorps25 for a 25% discount for MiCorps volunteers).
A group rate is available at the Delta Hotels Muskegon Convention Center for $149/night. Last day to book: Sunday, March 23, 2025. Follow the instructions on the conference website to receive the discounted rate.
