Secchi Disk Water Transparency
Secchi disk transparency is a measure of water clarity.
As a Lake Monitoring Volunteer, you can choose from a suite of measurements that asses water quality (water clarity, nutrients, dissolved oxygen, and algae), habitat (aquatic plants, temperature, shorelines), and invasive plants. Click on the tiles below for information on each measurement.
NOTE: New volunteers can only choose from the Basic Water Quality Parameter list.
New and experienced volunteers may enroll.
Only volunteers who have been in the CLMP for more than one year may enroll.
